A word of wisdom:
Upward mobility shouldn't always be the goal. You don’t need to constantly level up; sometimes, it’s okay to stay where you are. The best thing you can do at any stage is to explore the different paths branching out from your current position and be honest with yourself about what you can achieve right here. There might be something worthwhile exactly where you are!

@Madison Green Love this take! I feel like, for me, it's a question of whether what I'm doing is sufficiently interesting, empowers me to have the right balance for my life and obviously provides enough disposable income for my family to be comfortable. If one of those things is no longer true, that's when I start re-evaluating my options.
