EXPONENT Skincare – New Year Gift Box 3D CGI Renders

About the Project (Overview): I was tasked with creating 3D CGI visualizations for the specially designed New Year Gift Box edition of EXPONENT's "Needle-Free Lifting Eye Cream." The main objective was to showcase the elegant design, packaging details, and premium quality of this limited holiday release in a highly realistic studio environment.

Execution & My Approach: To deliver this project at the highest commercial standards, I focused on the following key details:

3 Distinct Compositions: I created three dynamic setups to fully convey the unboxing experience, capturing both the sleek exterior design and the precise internal architecture (the exact placement of the syringe and eye patches).

Material & Texture Accuracy: The texture of the packaging was a major priority. I applied a high-quality, matte red cardboard texture to the exterior and interior surfaces. I specifically rendered the inner cut-out walls of the insert tray in stark white, creating a sharp and elegant contrast against the red background. For the product itself, I achieved maximum realism with a premium frosted plastic/glass effect.

Photorealistic Lighting: To reflect the luxurious New Year vibe, I avoided harsh lighting and utilized soft, natural studio illumination (softbox setups). The careful interplay of light and shadow perfectly balanced the matte finish of the boxes with the subtle, elegant highlights on the syringe.
