Don't let crap roll downhill. There is always someone after you in the chain, and you can show respect for their work by doing your best at your work. If your workflow includes people you pass your work off to—a teammate, developer, printer, whoever—learn a bit about their job and how your work relates to theirs. Keep them in mind and do what you can to make their lives easier. If they know you're trying, they will do their best to help you out on the occasions when you mess something up accidentally or need help with a rush job. If they sense you are NOT trying, that you're taking the easy route and dumping extra work on them, don't expect them to pick up your slack. The likelihood they'll help you is low. Don't forget: we're all near the bottom of someone else's hill.
