Behind the Scenes of the GEN Platform Update
The GEN (Global Entrepreneurship Network) platform recently launched updates to make engagement faster and more intuitive. Behind the scenes, I worked on strengthening the foundation to ensure these improvements were scalable and maintainable.
My focus included refining custom menu and header logic, refactoring dynamic content blocks, modernizing legacy code, and improving caching and content rendering. These changes reduced technical debt, improved performance, and made future enhancements easier to ship.
I also supported deployment, validating edge cases and ensuring a smooth rollout across environments.
