“Can you take care of this?” is not much of a delegation brief.
Before handing off a task, make five things explicit:
• What finished looks like
• What is outside the scope
• Which decisions the person can make
• When to check in
• What should trigger an escalation
AI can help you create that blank structure without seeing your project plans. Try: “Draft a reusable task-handoff template with those five fields. Use placeholders only, and add one question that checks whether the recipient has the resources to proceed.”
Fill in the real details privately in your approved work system. Your organization’s tool and data rules still come first.
