Short description of series + pilot: A man reading under a tree gets struck by a falling apple and instantly transforms into a deadpan 17th-century Isaac New2on and the transformation is contagious. Every apple he throws turns its victim into another New2on. In this pilot, a quiet English village erupts into an ever-growing swarm of identical, silent New2ons as one terrified bystander, Tommy, tries to outrun a plague of physics he can't explain.

Where I'd take the series next: Future episodes track Tommy as the last "normal" person in a town fully converted to Newtons, forced to uncover why the apples work this way and whether there's a cure, an origin, or a single "first" Newton pulling the strings. and discover Later arcs could escalate the outbreak beyond the village (a city, a country, the world), introduce factions of Newtons with competing "laws," or reveal Tommy slowly developing immunity or worse, starting to enjoy the calm, deadpan certainty of Newtonhood himself.
