Most believe horror video games consist of jump scares.
But nahh!
The horror experience comes from atmosphere, suspense, timing, and the mind of the player.👻
We are now testing out a new prototype that involves:
• Environmental storytelling
• Dynamic lighting and fog
• AI controlled encounters
• Sound design
• Player movement
• System performance on various hardware setups
This way, we can improve on the experience and learn what creates horror rather than just shock.
Not too far into development, but it’s interesting to see the world take shape step by step.

Still running in browser with 60fps
