Recent project: "Dark Eastern Academia" — 7-Day CapCut Template Series
A self-initiated creative challenge exploring the intersection of Eastern philosophical poetry and cinematic dark academia aesthetics.
What I delivered:
• 7 original CapCut video templates (script to final edit)
• Original atmospheric soundtrack (composed with Gemini)
• AI-generated cinematic footage (Grok)
• Full sound design, text animation, and visual effects
Poets featured: Al-Mutanabbi, Rumi, Mahmoud Darwish, Traditional Arabic wisdom
This project demonstrates my end-to-end production capability — from concept and visual direction to audio composition and platform-ready output. Every template was built for TikTok with strong visual identity and cultural depth.

Concept
For this reinterpretation, I imagined CapCut not as a tool, but as a lifelong storyteller—the invisible editor helping us make sense of the moments that shape who we become.
The film follows a young man who discovers a letter written by his 10-year-old self. As he revisits the dreams, expectations, and promises contained in the letter, he realizes that while life did not unfold exactly as planned, every experience, relationship, and memory became part of a story still being written.
CapCut is reimagined as the editor behind every story—quietly helping us preserve, connect, and give meaning to the chapters of our lives.
Creative Process
The visual development began inside CapCut Design Studio, where I explored references and inspiration from the existing asset library to establish the emotional tone and visual language of the film.
Using Design Studio, I generated the key still images for each scene, developing the characters, environments, and cinematic moments that would form the narrative. These images became the visual foundation of the project.
The generated stills were then animated and sequenced in Runway to create motion, allowing the story to unfold through a series of interconnected moments and memories. Throughout the process, the focus remained on creating an emotional journey that reflected the film's central idea: that every life is a story still being edited.

An immersive, AI-driven visual journey created for the CapCut DesignStudio Challenge, focusing on surreal environment transitions and high-concept storytelling.
Key elements of the creation process:
• AI Visual Generation & Upscaling: Used CapCut's advanced AI video tools to generate vibrant, hyper-realistic environments—shifting from a sunny coastal cave into a luminous, bioluminescent neon underwater world.
• Seamless Match-Cutting & Pacing: Carefully timed the character's movements (paddling and diving) to create seamless transitions between realistic footage and fantasy AI generations.
• Surreal Composite Effects: Integrated magical elements like glowing jellyfish, ancient underwater ruins, and a majestic flying whale, ensuring consistent lighting, color grading, and a premium cinematic aesthetic.
• Atmospheric Sound Integration: Synchronized a mysterious, ambient soundtrack with the visual beats to maximize emotional depth and retention.
Created fully using CapCut Studio to showcase the future of AI-assisted filmmaking.
