Spark! - An evolving idea capture experience

Spark is a concept mobile app that rethinks how ideas are captured and developed.

Instead of static notes, ideas flow, connect, and evolve over time.

Process: I used Mobbin to study key UX moments across apps:

- quick capture flows

- content-first layouts

- lightweight interactions

From this, I designed a system focused on:

- frictionless capture

- minimal UI

- continuous idea evolution

Outcome: A 5-screen mobile experience with:

- dynamic idea feed

- instant capture (text + voice)

- idea growth stages

- connected ideas

Built and prototyped in Stitch.

✨ Most apps store ideas. Very few help them grow. Over the past few days, I explored how people capture thoughts from quick notes to inspiration boards. Using Mobbin, I studied key UX moments: • how ideas are captured instantly • how content is surfaced and revisited • how lightweight interactions reduce friction That led me to build ‘Spark!’ An idea space where thoughts aren’t static. They evolve. Claude Design built me a client-ready onboarding flow in 30 minutes.

Here's the trick that made it work...

Before touching a single screen, I made it define the full design system first. Colors, type scale, spacing, components. Only then did I start building on top of it.

What got me is that all 5 screens actually looked like they belonged together. Every other AI tool I've tried loses consistency after 2-3 screens. This one didn't.
