I built an experimental social media platform called Analog Likes ❤️ Today's social media platforms reduce appreciation to a binary action: Like or Not Like. But real emotions aren't that simple. Sometimes you like something a little. Sometimes you love it so much that it makes you smile. So I asked: What if Likes weren't binary? Analog Likes lets users create their own 4 levels of appreciation using facial expressions. First, users record four different expressions through their webcam. Then, while browsing a feed, they can express their reactions using those expressions instead of tapping a button. The system compares the user's face in real time and stamps different levels of Likes directly onto the post. I built the web using Figma Make, adjusting styles and layouts in Figma Design. I was able to explore how AI-assisted tools can help designers quickly turn speculative interaction concepts into working experiences. 🔗 Website Link: https://analog-likes-32401468.figma.site/ 🔗 Figma Make Link: https://www.figma.com/make/jPGRxqdAsPZyBhOyw5O63q/analog-likes?t=B1DPICv9wSa1VaL7-1 ⭐️ Social Link: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jiwon-park-70881923a_configmakeathon-configmakeathon-figmamakeathon-ugcPost-7473626982514065408-avdV/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAADuQ0bgB-26HE7arSmdz345w-tYgkAt87-w #ConfigMakeathon #FigmaMakeathon #InteractionDesign #CreativeCoding #SpeculativeDesign #UXDesign #FigmaMake
