I've been quietly researching a problem that costs the Nigerian construction industry billions of naira every year.

Projects run over budget. Timelines slip. Clients are kept in the dark. Contractors work off WhatsApp voice notes. Artisans show up not knowing what they're building that day.

And nobody, not the client, not the PM, not the contractor, has a single source of truth.

So I started designing the solution.

What I'm building:

✅ A multi-stakeholder platform where clients, project managers, contractors, quantity surveyors, consultants, and artisans all work from the same live project data

✅ AI-powered site insights — anomaly detection, cost overrun alerts, and automated weekly reports generated from real site data

✅ Mobile-first, offline-ready daily site reporting — because construction sites in Lagos don't always have 4G

✅ Real-time budget vs actual tracking — so clients stop discovering cost overruns 3 months after they happen

✅ Naira-native financial management — not a Western tool retrofitted for our market

The screenshot above is a prototype of the Task & Resource Manager — live site execution tracking showing 142 artisans active on a Lekki Phase 1 project, with AI flagging a cement shortage before it causes downtime.

This is what construction project management should look like in Nigeria.

Global platforms like Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Buildertrend are incredible, but they're built for markets with reliable broadband, formalised contract cultures, and enterprise budgets. Nigeria needs something built from the ground up, for our realities.

I'm currently in the design and research phase, building the PRD, prototyping key flows in Figma, and speaking with construction professionals across Lagos and Abuja.
