I’ve been exploring Solana trading bots recently, especially around the meme coin ecosystem.
Every day, a large number of tokens are minted on Solana — but the reality is: most of them go to zero pretty quickly. At the same time, a small percentage of tokens do go 10x–100x, which makes this space interesting from an engineering perspective.
The real challenge is not just trading — it’s filtering.
How do you detect:
• which tokens are likely scams / low-liquidity traps
• which tokens have real momentum or organic growth signals
• when to enter early and when to exit safely
I’ve been thinking about building a system that combines:
• on-chain data analysis (liquidity, holder distribution, mint authority, etc.)
• real-time transaction monitoring
• AI-based signal classification for “safe vs risky vs high potential” tokens
In theory, a trading bot could automate this pipeline:
scan → filter → rank → execute trades → manage exits.
In practice, of course, it’s much harder — signal quality, false positives, and timing matter a lot.
Still, it’s an interesting space where blockchain data + automation + AI can actually intersect in a meaningful way.
