What’s working:
1. Posted 3 projects so far, and all 3 were featured in the Selected Gallery.
2. Earned the Jitter Expert badge.
3. Reached 175 Discovery Score and landed in the Top 1% of Contra.
4. Connected with a bunch of talented, like-minded people and had some genuinely great conversations.
What’s not there yet:
1. 1 client request so far.
2. $0 earned through Contra.
No gatekeeping, no pretending otherwise.
I’m still very happy with the progress. One month in, I’ve built a solid foundation, met some great people, and learned a lot about how the platform works.
Now I’m focused on turning that momentum into actual opportunities.
Excited to see what October brings🤘
If you’re new to Contra, how has your experience been so far?
And if you’ve been here for a while and have figured out what works, I’d genuinely love to hear your feedback or lessons. 👊
Is Contra pro worth it i am new to contra and don't know stuff about this platform i am good at my work in video editing i have applied a few job posts in my job feed but i am a free user so i don't have access to much job posts and pro gives you early access to job posts and much more opened job feed but i am confused should i pay that 29$ a month or wait till i get my first project .
25K on Contra 🎉
What started as another platform to share my work has turned into a place where I’ve connected with some really great clients and worked on projects across branding, social, content, and growth marketing.
Very grateful for every opportunity, referral, and client...
