We interact with video the same way we did 20 years ago - click, scrub, pause. I wanted to ask a different question: what if your hand was the interface? So I created a gesture controlled video player. This project reimagines video control through static hand poses. No buttons. No cursor. Just intent, translated into action. Each gesture maps to a specific trigger. A held pose becomes a command. It shifts the interaction model from finding the control to becoming the control. This is an exploration in embodied UI, where the body isn't adapting to the interface, the interface is reading the body. Open the app, turn gestures on and allow camera access to try it out yourself!
