One question I always ask at the start: who's making the final decisions on this project?
Not who's giving feedback. Who actually approves things and moves the project forward.
I've worked on builds where feedback came from the designer, the PM, and the client's internal team. All good input, but nobody could actually say "this is approved, let's move on." Every decision turned into a group discussion with no resolution.
When one person has final say, projects move faster. Feedback still comes from the team, but it gets filtered through someone who can make calls.
