Is AI making content creators lazy, or just faster?
After 261 articles and 48 videos made with AI tools, my answer: it depends on what you do after the first draft.
AI gets me from a blank page to a rough draft in minutes. That part really is faster.
But the draft is never the article. Before anything goes live, I still:
✅ Fact-check every claim, because AI sounds confident even when it's wrong
✅ Rewrite it so it sounds like a person, not a template
✅ Add headings, internal links and SEO
✅ Make the images and thumbnail myself in Canva
I've caught AI inventing sources, getting numbers wrong and describing product features that don't exist, all written with total confidence.
That's where lazy and faster split. Publish the first draft, and AI made you lazy. Treat it as a starting point, and it made you faster.
