Supabase row-level security in MeetNote and PresentPitch
I'm Faizan, an AI & Full Stack Engineer. In MeetNote (meetnote.app) and PresentPitch (presentpitch.vercel.app), users own their own data: meeting notes and transcripts in one, presentations in the other. Both run on Supabase and Postgres, so I enforce access in the database with row-level security policies rather than relying only on checks in app code.
Why it matters: when a database policy decides which rows a signed-in user can read or change, a missed check in an API route can't leak another user's data. The database refuses the request itself.
I'm taking on new projects: multi-user SaaS MVPs, LLM features and automation on Next.js, FastAPI or Django with Supabase/Postgres. If you're building something that needs this, send me a message here on Contra.
