How to actually win a Figma Makethon? Aren't you interested on this question?
I like some of you, participated in the three editions of this challenge.
I wasn't serious enough in the first two.
However, with this one, I was and did invest time and money.
But nothing. Analytics says that only one person from the US checked the submission.
So I analysed the three editions to get the formula of winning.
The first thing: You must have a following or an audience here or outside. The 5 points of social will decide on where you go.
Second, you have to publish early or at least when there is still room for people to try your thing. And plays with it and even likes it and comment.
Third, if you make it to the recap video, it means you most likely is considered for winning.
At least that's what the analysis says. The data, went through both deepseek and claude.
