A little late to the party, but I made it! Here's my Figma Makeathon submission ✨
SpellBoard is an interaction experiment that turns spelling practice into a fun, playful adventure.
It started with a simple need: helping my son practice spelling in a way that actually felt enjoyable. English isn't my first language, so I also wanted something that would help me practice alongside him with more confidence and accuracy.
Here's how it works: parents enter custom words, choose a theme, and kids drag letters to build each word as they move through a gentle, game-like world.
It's a prototype exploring how interaction design can reduce frustration and build confidence in everyday learning moments. I'm excited to keep working on it and hopefully help other families too! https://spellboard.figma.site
