AFTER CHRISTMAS is a 30-second one-take AI short film created for the CapCut Seedance 2.5 Video Challenge.
The film explores how a seemingly ordinary Christmas night can gradually become unsettling, told entirely through a single continuous camera movement.
The challenge was to maintain spatial, character and prop continuity throughout the entire shot while allowing the camera to naturally discover the story.
No cuts. No dissolves. No camera resets.
Written & "Directed" by Leonardo Bruni
Created with CapCut Video Studio + Seedance 2.5.
This one really nails the one-take challenge, Leonardo. The cozy Christmas setup slowly turning unsettling makes the whole camera move feel purposeful instead of just technical. Really well done 👏
Thank you! I have to say that took some generations to do this exact movement that i had in mind, actually, but this tool is powerfull indeed!
Good one! Finally, someone has done a proper single-take shot 👌
Thank you!
one continuous take, that's the whole trick
This is such a strong use of AI storytelling. 🔥 Keeping spatial, character, and prop continuity intact in a single uninterrupted shot is seriously impressive. The slow shift from ordinary to unsettling makes the one-take format feel intentional rather than just a technical challenge. Great work! 👏
The one-take approach makes this really compelling. 🔥 Maintaining continuity while letting the camera gradually reveal the story is a great creative challenge. I especially like how the tension builds without relying on cuts—it makes the whole piece feel more immersive. 👏
Thanks!

Two short motion ads for Instaheadshots, an app that turns ordinary selfies into studio-quality professional headshots with AI.
🎬 Ad 1: "Slide to Unlock" (10s)
A product-flow spot. It opens on a glowing slide-to-unlock button, then shows the app's processing and generating screens as a casual selfie becomes a polished headshot. It ends on the brand and a "Try Instaheadshots" CTA.
🎬 Ad 2: "Everyone's Upgrading" (20s)
A social-proof spot. Notification cards stack up as Sarah, Daniel and Priya each post a new profile photo within one week. The punchline is "everyone is using the exact same Instaheadshots to upgrade," which works on FOMO and ends on a clear CTA.

That mint-and-pink street scene is pure good vibes, love the sneaker detail catching the light. What drives my energy lately is seeing a rough idea actually ship instead of sitting in drafts. Momentum is its own fuel.
Nice animation it's feels beautiful I like it ❤️🎉
