One of the hardest things in portfolio writing is explaining complex legacy work in simple platform language.
I’m rebuilding a school website inside an old XSL-based CMS with little documentation. This is not just visual cleanup or front-end polish. I’m restructuring templates, cleaning output, and improving maintainability at the system level.
Not covering problems with fresh paint — actually fixing what makes the site fragile. And then trying to fit that into labels like Web Design, Front-End, CMS, or Web Development.
