Hello,
I was inspired to write a piece for Layla last week, and I thought to share it.

Dear Layla,
It won't be all rosy,
The journey to your becoming won't be all lilies.
You'll walk on stony grounds.
Your face will be cast down multiple times, but chin up...
It's a sign you're getting there.
There'll be times when your cries will be like alarms,
An awakening to your true being. 
Trust me, it might be deafening to some people.
Entities and territories will be shaken, 
Shackles will be broken into pieces.
Your becoming will be evidently seen. 
Your cries sounding loud,
screaming, I'm tired!
I've come to the end of myself,
Then the king of kings steps in.
With your hand in his, you're sure to overcome.
Stay true.
Stay pure and stay in love.
He's right there with you.
