I build an AI virtual assistant named Emma for my one person photography studio, Golden Hour ATX in Austin, Tx. Emma books appointments, checks the calendar, sends confirmation emails, and handles almost everything a one person photography studio needs. My photography studio used to overwhelmed with emails from clients and he needed someone to handle the details so that he can concentrate on photography.
Making the assistant the actual interface rather than adding a chatbot beside a booking form is a really interesting choice.
How does Emma handle requests that don't fit neatly into the available packages or calendar?
That's usually where a human ends up getting pulled back into the loop.
I think pretty well. I tried to create another appointment and she told me that I couldn't until I cancelled my previous appointment. She instructed me to reach out to the photography studio to cancel my earlier appointment.
I asked some other stump questions and these were her responses: For one person, The Portrait is $320 for one session. It includes 45 minutes of photography and 20 edited images.

Polar — Local AI Desktop Assistant
Polar is a local, privacy-focused AI desktop assistant designed around a futuristic HUD interface and system-level interaction.
The project explored how a desktop AI could understand the user's environment, process visual and voice input, and respond or perform actions without relying entirely on cloud services.

The project combined AI, computer vision, OCR, voice interaction, desktop application development, and modern UI engineering into a single experimental personal-assistant platform.
My contribution: Architecture, application development, AI integration, OCR functionality, UI/HUD development, and system interaction.
