Companero — Find Your Activity Companion
What it does:
Companero is a mobile social app that helps people find companions for local activities — from tennis matches and chess games to evening runs and board game nights. Instead of scrolling through endless profiles, users browse real-time activity cards with date, time, and location, then join instantly and chat with participants.
The problem it solves:
Many people want to stay active, try new hobbies, or meet friends offline, but struggle to find willing companions. Existing social apps focus on dating or professional networking, leaving casual activity partnerships underserved. Companero fills this gap by making it frictionless to discover, join, and coordinate local meetups.
How I built it:
Built entirely in Bubble as a native mobile app with 4 main tabs: Home(Feed), My Activities (track joined/created events), Chats (coordinate with companions), and Profile (manage interests). The app uses Bubble's data types for Users, Activities, Responses, and Messages, with option sets for categories (Tennis, Chess, Running, etc.) and statuses (Open, Confirmed, Completed). I designed a cohesive purple-themed UI (#8F63E9) with rounded cards, pill badges, and Phosphor icons throughout. Key workflows include joining activities (creates Response records), creating new events, real-time chat messaging, and profile management. Demo data populates all screens to showcase the full user journey from discovery to coordination.

Over the weekend, I built HabitArt with Rork, a habit tracker that turns daily progress into art. The idea is simple: you check off your daily rituals, and each day becomes part of a bigger mosaic. Over time, you create an artwork that reflects your progress.
As a designer, I wanted the visual experience to be a big part of why someone would enjoy using it. Something you want to come back to, watch grow, and maybe even share. Will that make building habits a little more enjoyable? I think it could, but users will have the final say.
It’s still hard to believe that an idea I had a few days ago is now a working app on my phone. There’s plenty to test and refine, but I’m excited to get it into people’s hands and see what they think. And if you’re wondering about day three, that went into setting everything up in App Store Connect 😂- it’s now waiting for a review.

Scan a business card, keep the details that matter, and turn “great meeting you” into a meaningful follow-up. An interactive living deck brings your contacts to life, while reminders and personalized drafts help you take the next step.
I designed Carddek around the moments networking tools often miss: where you met, what stood out, what you offered, and what you wanted to do next.
My process started with a real experience, grew into a visual identity inspired by physical cards, and evolved through hands-on testing of scanning, card interactions, and mobile layouts. The accompanying video pairs that story with a look inside the app.
The business card still has a place. Now the conversation has somewhere to continue.
