This past weekend, I had my graduation ceremony from the University of Waterloo. (yippee!) UW is notorious for having an amazing co-op program which I took advantage of. I got to work with brands such as Air Canada as a co-op student which is super cool! But what is often overlooked is the range of clubs the university offers as well as the creative, brilliant, and talented students that join them. By working with campus clubs. learned so much about career development, design, marketing, social media management, and how to be a community member that helps uplift, not just participate. My favourite club by far was UW Hip Hop where I served as the Co-President for a year and participated as a community member before then. I built my leadership, digital marketing, communication, and design skills. Check out my work!
