This project showcases how I implemented Cross-Domain Tracking in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to unify user sessions and conversions across multiple domains.
The client was losing conversion attribution because users were redirected between their main website and an external checkout domain (for example, example.com β†’ checkout.example-pay.com).
Using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and GA4’s advanced measurement features, I ensured accurate tracking across both domains without session breaks β€” providing clean, unified analytics data for better marketing attribution.
🎯 Objectives
Enable Cross-Domain Tracking between the main and external checkout domains
Maintain single user sessions across multiple domains
