Stop pitching yourself as a "full-stack developer" on freelance platforms.
Nobody googles "full-stack developer." They google "Python script to clean a CSV" or "Cocos Creator playable ad" or "Cloudflare Workers expert."
The taglines that actually win me clicks on my own portfolio aren't the broad ones — they're the embarrassingly specific ones. "Excel-to-PDF desktop tools for Australian schools" sounds laughably narrow. It also gets the meeting.
If the brief is broad, the proposal can be broad. The profile has to be narrow.
