I'm obsessed with the freedom that freelancing provides. My schedule, my time, and working as much or as little as I want. I've been broke and rich so many times in my life, that cash flow is hardly a worry, it's more like a challenge at this point.
So true!! Nothing beats freedom 🚀

Hey Contra community! 👋
I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself and share a little milestone from my freelance journey.
I've been working as a designer for almost 8 years now, and I'm grateful to have maintained a 100% Job Success Score and Top Rated status on Upwork.
It's been a long journey of learning, improving, working with amazing clients, and sometimes spending way too many hours perfecting a design. 😅
I recently joined Contra and upgraded to Pro. Really excited to explore this platform, meet other creatives, and hopefully find some great projects here too!
I actually have a question for the experienced freelancers here.
Does Contra Pro help you get discovered by clients and receive project inquiries organically? Or do most of you find your own clients and bring them to Contra?
I'm still figuring out how things work here, so I'd genuinely love to hear about your experiences.
Any tips for someone who's experienced in freelancing but completely new to Contra?
Looking forward to connecting with you all! 🙌

Honest question for the designers and devs here: do you ever build a free concept before the client hires you?
Last week I built a full animated one-pager for a lead before we'd even had a call. It took an afternoon.
Some people say never work for free. Others say a live link beats any proposal.
Where do you land?
1. Never, my time is the product
2. Only for dream clients
3. Always, it's my best closer

What You Think Working From Home Is Like...🙌
Hi everyone, “Who am I again?”😂
I’ll prove it! A designer working from home is like a perpetual motion machine!
Don’t you all think that working from home = freedom, relaxation, drinking coffee, and a burst of inspiration?
NO, NO, NO🔥
My actual daily routine is: wake up, turn on the computer, check job sites, edit my portfolio, apply for jobs—then repeat the above.
Before the day ends, I want to take a peek at my wallet... hmm, on second thought, I’ll pass—it’s too painful to look....
So, for the sake of my wallet....
If you happen to be reading this, and if you happen to be hiring designers—for brand design, visual design, AI logo design, poster design, etc.—feel free to reach out to me.
I’d love to hear from you!
I’m ready to go!🚀
