last week i was OOO, sailing with MSC Cruises to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary (which was yesterday 🥹🥳)

taking the trip felt abrupt with all the professional momentum i’ve been building. that said, i’ve realized you have to prioritize celebrating personal milestones just as much as, if not more than, professional milestones.

being able to spend quality time with my husband on a 5 day, 4 night cruise was the BEST!

especially because, it was his first cruise 🤭 (of course, i documented the whole trip too & will be sharing some vlog style content soon)

saying that all to say: remember not to always get caught up in hustle culture. rest is productive!

don’t ever be deluded to think, it’s all up to or on you to get every opportunity.

every opportunity takes faith & what others might even call luck but what i’d say is favor.

sometimes your faith isnt exercised by writing another pitch, sending another email or showing up to another event.

sometimes your faith isnt exercised exercised by pausing, resting & trusting “what is for me, is already being prepared for me in my rest”
