A village was once covered in darkness after a powerful storm.
Every lamp went out.
People gathered in fear, convinced the night would never end.
But an old man carried a small lamp that was still burning.
The villagers laughed.
"That tiny light can't change anything."
"There is too much darkness."
The old man smiled and continued walking.
As he moved through the village, others used his lamp to light theirs.
One lamp became two.
Two became ten.
Ten became hundreds.
Before long, the entire village was glowing again.
The darkness had not disappeared because of one giant light.
It disappeared because one person refused to let their small light go out.
Life teaches the same lesson.
Never underestimate the value of showing up.
