Here's how I structure a UGC content strategy for Meta and TikTok from scratch:
Phase 1: Research & Positioning
Audit the brand's existing content (what's converting, what's dead weight)
Analyze 10-15 competitor ads on the Meta Ad Library and TikTok Creative Center
Identify the hooks, formats, and angles that are actually performing in their niche right now
Define the audience's pain points, objections, and language (pulled from reviews, comments, Reddit threads)
Phase 2: Script Architecture
Build a hook bank (8-12 opening lines per batch, tested across problem-aware, solution-aware, and unaware angles)
Write scripts in a modular format: Hook > Agitate > Proof > CTA
Every script gets a "scroll-stop test." If the first 2 seconds don't interrupt the thumb, it's rewritten
Adapt tone and pacing per platform. TikTok scripts are faster, more conversational. Meta scripts can breathe a little more
Phase 3: Delivery & Iteration
Scripts delivered with creator direction notes (energy, framing, b-roll suggestions)
Tag each script by funnel stage (TOF, MOF, BOF) so the media buyer knows where to slot it
After the first round of performance data comes back, I kill what's underperforming and double down on the winning angles
