My grandmother has stories I've never asked her to tell.
So I'm building Dhaaga (धागा : "thread") for the Figma Config Makeathon.
It's simple: I ask her one question. She talks. The app listens in Hindi, keeps her words exactly as she said them, and translates them for me. The story becomes a little glowing star. Add more stars and they form a constellation of everyone in our family who has ever spoken.
The AI also notices which years of her life have no stars yet — and gently suggests what to ask next.
No streaks. No feed. Just her voice, kept. Link: https://www.figma.com/make/kM6cJtVxUCSiwg2QDHnw5W/Dhaaga-mobile-web-app?t=TH6HFaH1lDPoWU0B-1 Community: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1648024958051528400/dhaaga

The constellation metaphor earns its keep here. The AI noticing gaps in years of her life and suggesting what to ask next is the detail that elevates this from a recorder to something genuinely thoughtful.
