About Kolbe 15
Kolbe 15 is a community for founders who value depth over noise. We run real experiences: weekend retreats at our hub outside Toronto, early morning padel sessions, runs, and founder dinners. We are early and growing, and we are looking for a freelance content partner to help us build the content side of the brand.
If you get excited about a project with real creative freedom, not just a brief to execute, this is worth a look.
What you will be doing
1. Edit long-form videos for YouTube
Take raw footage from retreats, events, and sessions and shape it into compelling long-form content
Pacing, structure, music, captions. Make it watchable from start to finish
2. Create short-form content from long-form footage
Pull the best moments and turn them into Reels, Shorts, and TikToks
8 to 12 short-form pieces per month across Instagram and YouTube
3. Give us shooting direction ( Not needed all the time)
Tell us what to capture before each event so you have what you need to edit
Simple shot lists or briefs.
4. Prepare social posts for upcoming events
Write captions, format posts, and schedule content for event announcements
Keep the tone consistent: thoughtful and direct, never salesy
5. Capture the feel
This is the most important part. Kolbe is real, not polished. Honest, not hype.
The content should make a founder watching it feel something, not just see something
The aesthetic
Early morning light. Nature. Founders in real conversation. Quiet confidence. Not filters, not hype, not motivational quotes. Real moments over produced ones.
What we are looking for
Can edit both long-form and short-form. This is non-negotiable
Strong sense of pacing, music, and storytelling through video
Proactive. You bring ideas, not just execution
Reliable and consistent. Content goes out on schedule, every time
Toronto-based preferred but not required
Bonus: you understand the founder world or have worked with personal brands before
