Funny enough, I've had a Contra account since 2024 but never really took it seriously.

The Google Stitch Challenge has officially wrapped up.
Without a doubt, this was one of my favorite Contra challenges of 2026 so far.
It was inspiring to watch builders, designers, developers, and creators explore what becomes possible when AI-native design workflows meet creativity, experimentation, and rapid execution.

One thing I particularly appreciate as a Google Developer is the opportunity to continuously gain early access to experimental and beta technologies through Google Labs. Having access to these cutting-edge tools before they reach broader adoption opens entirely new possibilities for learning, building, and exploring the future of software, AI, design, and user experiences.
@Stitch by Google is another great example of that vision in action.
Congratulations to everyone who participated, shared their work, and pushed the boundaries of what can be built with Stitch.
Now the wait begins.
I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing the winning submissions and discovering the projects that impressed the judges the most. 👀
