Spout Pouch Packaging Design | Food & Sauce Packaging Modern spout pouch packaging design created for REDROOT Tomato Puree. The concept combines bold food packaging design, flexible pouch packaging and sauce branding with a resealable dispensing spout, strong typography and contemporary graphics. Developed for sauces, purees, condiments and other liquid or semi-liquid food products requiring practical, shelf-ready flexible packaging. REDROOT is a contemporary spout pouch packaging design concept developed for tomato puree, with a focus on convenience, strong shelf visibility and modern flexible packaging.
The objective was to create an alternative to traditional glass jars and metal cans while demonstrating how flexible food packaging can combine practical functionality with distinctive branding. The stand-up pouch format provides a lightweight presentation, while the integrated screw-cap spout gives consumers a convenient way to dispense, close and store the product between uses.
The visual identity uses a bold tomato-red foundation supported by warm cream, deep charcoal and subtle green accents. This palette immediately establishes the food category while creating enough contrast for the REDROOT identity to remain recognizable on crowded retail shelves.
This project demonstrates my capabilities in spout pouch packaging, flexible packaging design, stand-up pouch design, food packaging design, sauce packaging, tomato puree packaging, condiment packaging, pouch label design, product packaging design, packaging graphics and FMCG packaging design.
Flexible packaging requires careful consideration of more than appearance. Artwork must work around seals, folds, gussets, dispensing components and production areas while preserving important branding and product information. My packaging approach considers these practical requirements alongside typography, visual hierarchy, shelf impact and brand consistency.
As a packaging designer, I can create complete flexible packaging solutions for sauces, condiments, purees, baby food, beverages, concentrates, snacks, supplements and other consumer products, including stand-up pouches, spout pouches, sachets, refill packaging, packaging artwork, dielines, print-ready files and realistic 3D packaging mockups.
The final REDROOT concept presents tomato puree in a practical and contemporary format suitable for supermarkets, grocery brands, FMCG companies, private-label products and eCommerce food businesses, while demonstrating how structural convenience and strong visual branding can work together in one commercially focused packaging solution.
