Google has signed a multi-year partnership with MrBeast to promote Gemini, Google Health, and Fitbit across his upcoming videos and campaigns.
The first major activation starts with a September 5 survival challenge, where MrBeast and his team will use Gemini while navigating the jungle, desert, and Arctic.
Gemini is expected to help with things like:
โค Identifying potential dangers
โค Responding to changing weather
โค Supporting survival decisions
And this doesnโt stop there. MrBeast will also use Fitbit Air in a future challenge and appear in Gemini advertising campaigns.
Why I find this interesting:
This is a great example of how AI is moving beyond the screen and becoming part of real-world experiences.
Imagine you're hiking in an unfamiliar place and your AI assistant helps you understand the weather, recognize a potential danger, or decide what to do next.
Thatโs a very different experience from simply asking AI to write an email.
With 500M+ YouTube subscribers, MrBeast could also introduce these AI experiences to an enormous global audience.
Itโll be interesting to see how this partnership changes the way people think about AI. ๐
