🌱 Introducing FarmFriends — a community-built digital world shaped by collective creativity.

For the Figma Makeathon, I wanted to explore how individual contributions can come together to create something much larger than any one person could build alone.

FarmFriends is a concept for a shared digital farm where users can discover animals in the real world, add them to a communal landscape, and help shape the environment through their own creativity. Every animal, drawing, and contribution becomes part of a living world that continuously evolves through community participation.

The inspiration came from collaborative internet experiences like r/place, where thousands of people contribute to a single canvas over time. Instead of pixels, FarmFriends uses animals, drawings, and creativity as the building blocks of a shared ecosystem. The goal is to create a space where every contribution matters and where the community collectively tells the story of the farm.

The current prototype is an early exploration of the idea and doesn't yet fully represent the complete vision. Due to time and platform limitations during development, several planned features, interactions, and community mechanics couldn't be implemented. However, the focus was to validate the core concept and demonstrate how a community-created farm could grow organically through the contributions of people around the world.

This project is less about technology and more about creating something meaningful together.
