I just shipped GRIDLOCK — a clonable cohort hub template designed and built entirely inside Figma Make.
Most free, community-run tech cohorts live across a Linktree, a Google Sheet, and a buried WhatsApp thread. If you’re new, it’s hard to know who’s mentoring, what you’ll learn, when the next cohort starts, or where to raise your hand.
GRIDLOCK is the missing front page — one accessible, mobile-first hub that pulls everything into one place:
Mentors (who’s teaching)
A multi-week curriculum (tabbed by week)
Live progress counts (example data)
A countdown to the next start
An honest waitlist flow
But the real point is: it’s a template. GRIDLOCK ships as a Figma Make Community file. Any community can clone it, swap in their own mentors / schedule / counts, and publish a cohort front page in an afternoon — no backend, no hosting, no handoff.
In this short video, I walk through how GRIDLOCK replaces the “Linktree + spreadsheet + chat” mess with a single hub, and how the whole thing was built end-to-end in Figma Make using a token-driven React + TypeScript + Tailwind setup.
Built end-to-end in Figma Make. Where builders break in.
