⏺ Concept: SportsPool is an app that helps people organize social betting pools (friendly contests) for sporting events, starting with the FIFA World Cup 2026. Friends and coworkers pick their winners, track standings in real time, and compete for bragging rights, or a prize pot.

⏺ The Problem It Solves: Every major tournament, friends and coworkers around the world use spreadsheets to create and manage these social betting pools. The spreadsheets however get messy fast — wrong scores, no live standings, text messages being sent at midnight. SportsPool fixes that with a dedicated app anyone can join in seconds.

⏺ Seasonal Theme: Built around the FIFA World Cup 2026, kicking off in North America this June — the biggest sporting event in the world and the perfect moment for a social betting app that brings people together around the beautiful game.
