Of course, there's nothing wrong with enjoying makeup, skincare, fashion, fitness, or taking beautiful pictures. Wanting to look good doesn't automatically mean you lack confidence. Nor is every influencer pretending to have a perfect life. The problem begins when inspiration quietly turns into comparison — when someone else's routine becomes a list of things you're doing wrong, or when you start believing that a picture is only worth posting if your skin looks smooth enough, your waist looks small enough, or your life looks interesting enough. We forget that a photograph is a moment someone chose to share, not the complete story of their life.
