VR SKY: Fighter Jets is an immersive virtual reality flight experience developed for the Meta Quest platform. The project features 60 fighter aircraft spanning third, fourth, advanced fourth, and fifth generations, along with seven distinct terrains designed to give users a varied and engaging flight experience. JahanXR Studio contributed to the full development process, including experience design, Unity development, flight and interaction systems, 3D environment implementation, user interface design, testing, and performance optimization for standalone VR hardware. A key challenge was creating a visually engaging experience while maintaining reliable performance on the Quest platform. The environments, aircraft, and interactions were carefully optimized to balance visual quality, responsiveness, and immersion. The result is an expansive VR flight experience that showcases our team’s ability to build and optimize complex real-time 3D applications for standalone virtual reality devices.
