Series Title: No Napkins Podcast
No Napkins Podcast is a comedic animal interview series hosted by Roofus (the main character), a street-smart raccoon with a sharp mouth and questionable judgment. Each episode brings a new animal guest into his podcast setup, where funny arguments, personality clashes, and absurd debates reveal real facts about the animal world. Designed as a fast, character-driven micro-series, No Napkins blends comedy, education, and AI-powered storytelling to create a memorable cast of animal personalities that audiences can laugh with, root for, and learn from.
No Napkins Podcast series will be built entirely around animal personalities, street-corner debates, and educational chaos. Roofus will be interviewing a rotating lineup of animal guests from different worlds: wild, domestic, dangerous, pampered, misunderstood, and everything in between.
The series begins with Brix, a male European badger, whose dry attitude and stubborn pride make him the perfect rival for Roofus. Their conversations feel less like interviews and more like two unlicensed philosophers arguing behind a dumpster. From there, the world expands with guests like Velour, a female Sphynx cat, and eventually larger, stranger, and more intimidating animals who force Roofus to adjust his usual trash-talk depending on who is sitting across from him.
Every episode begins differently based on the guest, their personality, and their environment. What starts as a simple podcast conversation quickly turns into a ridiculous debate about food, survival, hygiene, humans, nightlife, territory, habits, ego, and which species is truly the bigger menace to society. Some Guest will later return to the show and some will be featured just once.
At its core, No Napkins Podcast is designed to entertain first. The humor, arguments, character chemistry, and unpredictable guest dynamics are the main engine of the series. But beneath the jokes, every episode secretly teaches the audience something real about the guest animals. Viewers laugh first, then realize they have learned a genuine fact about raccoons, badgers, cats, birds, reptiles, predators, pets, and other creatures.
Creative Vision
The vision for No Napkins Podcast is to build a character-driven comedy universe where each animal guest feels memorable, distinct, and alive. Roofus is not just a host; he is the chaotic center of the show. He is bold, petty, observant, and funny, but he is also vulnerable when a guest exposes something embarrassing about raccoons.
The guests are not treated like simple animal stereotypes. Each one has a personality, a rhythm, a point of view, and a reason to challenge Roofus. Brix brings stubborn underground pride and dry British-coded sarcasm. Velour can bring elegance, vanity, and unsettling confidence. A lion would completely change the power dynamic, because Roofus cannot run his mouth the same way when the guest could turn him into a snack.
This format allows the series to grow endlessly. Each new animal opens the door to a new comedic conflict, a new visual identity, and a new educational fact. The podcast structure gives the audience something familiar, while the animal guests keep every episode fresh. Every guest changes the energy of the show while maintaining the Host control over the show.
Cantina Creator Studio Integration
Cantina plays a major role in bringing this series to life because the platform allows characters to feel more than generated. It gives creators the ability to shape personalities, visual identity, locations, wardrobe, props, sound, and performance details in a way that supports storytelling.
Unlike a generic AI video platform that depends mainly on a prompt, Cantina makes it possible to develop characters with continuity and personality. Roofus is not just a raccoon with a cute name and face; he can respond, react, evolve, and become a recognizable host with his own comedic rhythm.
After exploring the app and later gaining access to Creator Studio Beta, the creative control became much stronger. The ability to add locations, objects, wardrobe options, sound effects, and make micro-adjustments directly on the timeline helped refine the final result and bring the No Napkins world closer to the intended vision.
The Creator Studio tools make it possible to fine-tune performances, strengthen scenes, and build a more polished final video. While there are still areas that can improve, such as occasional generation bugs and audio-length errors on short videos, the platform already shows strong potential as a storytelling tool for character-driven series like No Napkins Podcast.

THE UNDERSTUDY
A dark palace suspense thriller micro-series, created end-to-end in Cantina.
WHAT I BUILT
Odette Lark is the secret body double of Princess Aurelie of Velmire, a tiny, wealthy kingdom carved into a white marble cliff above a stormy sea. For six years she has performed as the princess at every public appearance, perfectly copying her voice, walk, handwriting and smile. The crowds adore her. None of them know her name.
THE CHARACTER
Odette is 23. She grew up in Lowtide, the poor fishing quarter at the bottom of the cliff, and was taken up to the palace at 17 because she looked like the princess. In public she is flawless and composed. In private she is warm, witty, curious and a little reckless. After six years of playing someone else, she is no longer sure where the princess ends and she begins.
Her look is built around that split identity: a platinum bob, a cream high-collared jacket, and mismatched earrings. The pearl on her left ear belongs to the princess she performs. The tiny silver mirror on her right ear is the one thing that belongs to her.
THE PILOT
The princess is to be crowned tomorrow, and after the coronation the kingdom will no longer need an understudy. In one day, Odette is told she will be "free," hears the dying king confess that his daughter died three years ago, and finds a letter written in her own handwriting warning her not to let them crown her. Behind her mirror is a hidden room: six portraits of girls who looked exactly like the princess, every face painted over in black, and a seventh portrait of Odette with the paint still wet. Then a woman with Odette's exact face steps out of the dark, wearing pearls in both ears.
WHERE THE SERIES GOES NEXT
The pilot opens the central mystery: if the princess died three years ago, who has been ruling Velmire, and who is the woman with Odette's face?
Each episode, Odette must survive another public appearance as the princess (a coronation, a treaty, a suitor, an assassination attempt) while secretly unravelling the conspiracy behind the throne. The ongoing threads:
The double: is she a new understudy being prepared to replace Odette, the princess herself, or something worse?
The six erased girls: who they were, what happened to them, and whether any survived.
The letter: Odette has no memory of writing it. Is someone forging her, or has she been made to forget?
Madame Veyra, Mistress of the Rehearsal: protector or executioner.
Lowtide: her mother's letters stopped three years ago, the same month the princess disappeared.
The first season builds toward the coronation, where Odette must choose between exposing the lie and taking the crown for herself.
WHY I MADE IT
I wanted a character whose look, fears and secrets all come from the same premise, and a story where every episode could end on a question the audience needs answered.
