Ebook Cover Design Process Here’s how I created these ebook covers:

First, I researched top-performing ebook covers in the same genres to understand color trends, typography styles, and thumbnail visibility on platforms like Kindle and Amazon.

Next, I defined the core emotion of each book — sci-fi nostalgia, wellness calmness, and personal growth through travel. I built a mood direction around that emotion before starting the design.

Then, I selected genre-appropriate fonts and created a strong visual hierarchy so the title remains clear even in small thumbnail size.

Finally, I refined spacing, contrast, and alignment, and presented the designs in realistic 3D mockups to showcase premium positioning.

My focus: Story first. Strategy second. Design third
