Strategic design for EE's new retail marketplace concept saved them £Ms in potential development costs.
The Mission: Redefine the in-store experience with a self-service, multi-sensory digital showroom.
My Role: I led high-fidelity prototyping (Figma x Protopie) to test the concept's viability with real users.
The Real Win:
Testing showed a strong customer benefit (50%), but also confirmed the technology wasn't mature enough for scale.
Responsible Design: Based on the evidence, we advised EE to pause the project, delivering a direct $\text{\textsterling}2.3M$ saving by preventing costly, high-risk development.
The best design is often the most strategic, risk-mitigating decision.
