Toughest for me was a rich text editor that swallowed the first keystroke when it took focus. No error, no crash, the text just published with the first letter missing. It stayed hidden a while precisely because nothing failed loudly. Now I read the field back before submitting....
A loading screen is a tiny moment, but it still gets to set the mood.
With this intro for Namaste Studios, I wanted it to feel like the first little breath before the experience begins, rather than a progress bar politely asking you to wait.
The name slowly comes into focus, using blur and subtle movement to build a bit of anticipation before the page reveals itself.
It’s intentionally simple, but that small pause gives the site a more deliberate entrance and makes the transition feel like part of the experience.
