If the terrace is optional, the housing is wrong. No more sealed volumes stacked for efficiency.
We expanded both levels outward to reduce mass, not increase it. Students don’t live in rooms, they live in the spaces between rooms, where learning, socializing, and downtime happen.
A green structural layer is added to an existing mid-century building. Not decoration. Correction.
Designed by our team. This is not a facelift. It’s a structural rethink of collective student housing.
