Pagani Zonda R — Interactive Web Experience
A high-fidelity, dark-themed web showcase built for the iconic Pagani Zonda R — one of the rarest track-only hypercars in the world, limited to just 15 units globally. The site features a cinematic hero section with the car in full profile against a moody studio backdrop, followed by a detailed technical specification dashboard presenting key metrics including the 6.0L AMG V12 engine, 750 HP, 710 Nm torque, 1070 kg dry weight, 2.7-second 0–100 km/h sprint, and 350+ km/h top speed. The design employs a premium black and gold/yellow color palette with bold typography, real-time status indicators (SYS, GPS, REV), and an acquisition inquiry form — capturing the exclusivity and engineering artistry of the Pagani brand.
Tech aesthetic: Dark UI, futuristic HUD-style elements, responsive layout, high-resolution imagery.

What if scrolling through a website felt more like controlling the camera in a cinematic Ferrari commercial?
So I decided to build it.
The hero section starts inside the cockpit. As you scroll, the camera moves through the windshield, circles around the Ferrari, and finishes behind the car all controlled by your scroll.
Getting it to feel smooth was the biggest challenge. Scrubbing a video directly didn't deliver the experience I wanted, so I switched to a frame by frame approach instead. It took a bit more work, but the result feels much more natural and responsive.
This is the kind of experience I love building where motion isn't just there to look cool, it becomes part of the storytelling.

Okay this is such a fun concept, scrolling as camera movement instead of just scroll-triggered fades. Frame by frame instead of scrubbing video is a smart workaround. Did you run into any performance issues getting it smooth on lower-end devices?

This has been such a crazy website to build, and I’ve loved every minute of it.
It’s not meant to be perfect. It’s meant to be a gallery of weird, experimental ideas. I wanted to combine minimalism with bold design and more complex components to create something that feels different.
It’s still a work in progress. Although it’s live, I’m constantly developing, refining, and adjusting it.
