Signed a new client, YC-funded SF company
The founder and I are in the same network that organises meetups, but we'd never actually met, just knew of each other
I got a Cal notification a few days ago, and it seemed like a familiar name
Jumped on a call, screen-shared my packages, 20 mins, and we were done, then he sent over $5.5K
We'd never even met in person, but being in the same network was enough
Crazy how familiarity builds trust, or I just got lucky, no idea
