Guardian of the First Light is a 30-second AI cinematic short inspired by Yoruba-Nigerian-African mythology and folklore. I wanted to explore how AI can tell culturally grounded stories by following a guardian chosen to enter a sacred forest, recover a powerful artifact, and return home to restore hope to his village.
The project focused on character consistency, cinematic storytelling, authentic African-inspired visuals, and smooth scene transitions using CapCut AI and Seedance 2.5. My goal was to create a complete narrative with emotion, purpose, and visual continuity within the challenge's time limit.

I built a one-take chase sequence in Seedance 2.5; following a fugitive running through chaos, explosions, and close combat in real time.
The entire film is one continuous shot, designed to feel immersive, fast, and cinematic from start to finish.

I built a one-take journey through the impossible — a story about an astronaut who keeps moving forward as reality constantly changes around him. I wanted to explore how far a single continuous shot could take you, without relying on cuts to create spectacle or surprise. The idea was to make something that feels unpredictable, playful, and cinematic, while pushing Seedance 2.5 to its limits.
