It's Friday and I've been scrolling this feed for the last 20 minutes instead of working.
Not gonna pretend otherwise.
Jan's Figma Make build. Dian's typing game. Gopi's login page comparison getting 25K eyes on it.
There's something genuinely exciting happening here right now with the Makeathon. People are building things that didn't exist a week ago. Real products. Real craft.
And every time I see one of these posts, I feel two things at once:
Pure admiration. This community is actually insane in the best way.
A quiet anxiety that's become very familiar to me as a founder —
Will this still matter in 3 months?
Not the skill. Not the craft. Those compound forever.
I mean the visibility. The discoverability.
Because here's what I've learned building RankAsAnswer: the shelf life of a viral post is maybe 72 hours. The shelf life of a well-written landing page that AI engines can actually read and cite? Potentially years.
I'm not saying skip the Makeathon post. God no - go post it.
I'm saying: after you ship the thing, spend 30 minutes on your bio and your first two sentences.
Because right now, while everyone's focused on the feed - a client somewhere is asking ChatGPT to find them someone exactly like you.
Make sure the answer isn't someone else.
Happy Friday, everyone. Go build something good. 🙌
What's the most interesting thing you've shipped this week? Big or small - drop it below. 👇
